Kilic Kanat joins Wilson Center Panel on Turkish Elections

On Nov. 4th, 2015 SETA Kilic Kanat Participated the panel “Winning and Losing in Turkey: A Conversation about the November 1 Election” hosted by The Middle East Program and Global Europe Program at the Woodrow Wilson Center. Panelists included representatives from the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, Council on Foreign Relations, Al-Monitor, and Woodrow Wilson Center. Topics discussed included shifts in the AK Party’s election strategy, the impact of security and stability as a major factor impacting voters, and the failed June coalition process.
