On July 16, 2018, the SETA Foundation at Washington D.C. hosted an event on “The Legacy of the July 15 Coup Attempt on Civil-Military and US-Turkey Relations.” The keynote address was provided by Dr. Ravza Kavakci Kan. The panelists included Sener Akturk, Edward Erickson, Mark Kimmitt, Richard Outzen, and Mark Perry. The panels were moderated by Kilic B. Kanat and Kadir Ustun.
