Private Roundtable with H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Foreign Minister of Türkiye

On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, the SETA Foundation at Washington DC hosted a private roundtable discussion with the participation of H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Foreign Minister of Türkiye.
H.E. Minister Çavuşoğlu is visiting Washington DC to hold talks with his counterpart U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on a number of strategic issues of mutual concern. The war in Ukraine, potential F-16 sales to Turkey, the YPG and Gulen issues as well as the challenges in the Middle East continue to dominate the agenda in the U.S.-Türkiye relationship. As the two NATO allies cooperate on a number of critical policy issues, there remain significant policy differences and disagreements to be resolved. At such a critical point in the regions surrounding Türkiye, this roundtable session sought to help facilitate the exchange of different perspectives and deepen mutual understanding between policy experts.
