In partnership with the SETA Foundation in Ankara and Istanbul, the SETA Foundation at Washington DC hosts a month-long program in Washington DC designed to expose future Turkish leaders to US foreign policy in order to better equip them to support US-Turkey relations in the future.
Selected after a rigorous application process, the group of student ambassadors spend three weeks exploring the policy world of Washington DC and one week of optional travel to New York City. Not only do they speak with experts on SETA DC’s own staff, but they also have access to experts from think tanks, consulting firms, and both governmental and non-governmental organizations. This exposes the students to a range of perspectives on US-Turkish relations and US foreign policy at large.
